The Community Supported Bodywork Pilot Program

Anyone who needs bodywork, for whatever reason, can apply to receive work by me - paid for by “tips!”

Tips collected during 2023 will support discounted, low cost and free work to those in pain who are struggling to make ends meet.

At the end of each month, I will calculate the “tips” paid and will apply them to free or discounted sessions to clients in need of support.

 

How does it work?

I calculate each “tip” given the previous month(s) and apply it to free or discounted services the following month(s). Clients are offered a free session or multiple discounted sessions based on their need and amount available.

I assess the situation based on my knowledge of the client’s needs and understanding of their situation and what my work can do for them.

 

  • February (January 2023 Tips) are going to 2 clients!
    (your tips paid for 1 half price session and one free session)

  • January- (December 2022 Tips) went to 2 clients!
    (your December tips went to 1 discounted session, 2 half price sessions and one free session)

 

  • Apply to receive Community Supported Bodywork

  • Send money directly to the Community Supported Bodywork Program!

Disclaimer:

Please remember I am a one-person show here trying a creative way of offering discounted work without losing income.

·       This is not a tax-deductible donation.

·       This is still counted as income for me in the same way tips are considered income for a service worker.

·       I calculate my tip money at the end of the month and offer bodywork services to clients who have expressed interest or recently had a decline in their income.

·       If there is money left over, it is my discretion to roll it into the following month.

·       This is a pilot program in its infancy, and I will offer it as long as it continues to pay for itself and doesn’t distract from my business or prevent me from earning income. I reserve the right to cancel this program at any time.
